#50YEARSOFSTRAPPER is coming... 17/10/2026...

Keep your eyes peeled. 50 years of history, hundreds of interviews, thousands of boards, so many good times.

#strappersurf #localownedandoperated

Our good mates at #FCS have relaunched their HELIX leash, and the staff are loving it!!

The most advanced and renowned leash just got an upgrade, the HELIX 2.0

The HELIX 2.0 takes strength and comfort to the next level while retaining the benchmark shock-absorbing, drag reducing cord of its predecessor.

One of the 2.0 upgrades is the game-changing Uniloop string - a variable width, knot-free loop that allows for easy threading onto your board.

In store and online now

How mental is this new custom #longboard for #strapperteam rider of 46 years, Clint Wall!

Clint originally was a team rider, then worked as a shaper and eventually was one of the best artists in our #strappersurfboardfactory EVER!

Always epic to see old friends getting new boards, the #newboardfroth never dies!

#strappersurf #localownedandoperated

Want to get in the water quick?

The #VISSLA U-ZIP is the perfect option. Coming into summer, expect quick windows for a paddle, make sure you’re ready - our staff have been loving it!

#strappersurf #localownedandoperated

Something very exciting is coming...!

We're stoked to announce that 2026 marks 50 Years of all things Strapper. Since 1976 Dennis 'Strapper' Day was on a mission to go surfing, make surfboards and hang out with his mates that surfed. @michael_di_sciascio #DSAS at 15 years old joined Strapper in '79 learning to make surfboards in our factory which in those days was a sheep shearing shed close to #bellsbeach. In '89 Mike took over Strapper and now five decades on 2026 marks 50 years of a shared passion for surfing, making surfboards and being a foundation for the Torquay surf community and culture. Strapper is still #localownedandoperated by Mike D'Sas and continues to be #thesurfersshop.

Keep your eyes peeled as there is more to come...
