Something very exciting is coming...!

We're stoked to announce that 2026 marks 50 Years of all things Strapper. Since 1976 Dennis 'Strapper' Day was on a mission to go surfing, make surfboards and hang out with his mates that surfed. @michael_di_sciascio #DSAS at 15 years old joined Strapper in '79 learning to make surfboards in our factory which in those days was a sheep shearing shed close to #bellsbeach. In '89 Mike took over Strapper and now five decades on 2026 marks 50 years of a shared passion for surfing, making surfboards and being a foundation for the Torquay surf community and culture. Strapper is still #localownedandoperated by Mike D'Sas and continues to be #thesurfersshop.

Keep your eyes peeled as there is more to come...

Surf harder!

The new look and construction for the FCS Essential Series just hit the shop. They cut through AIR and WATER!

PG fins have faster memory recall which translates into pure speed!!!These fins are layered fiberglass and the added stiffness creates immediate response and acceleration down the line and through turns.
