50 YEARS OF #STRAPPERSURF IS HERE!

We're stoked to announce that 2026 marks 50 Years of all things Strapper. Since 1976 Dennis 'Strapper' Day was on a mission to go surfing, make surfboards and hang out with his mates that surfed. @michael_di_sciascio #DSAS at 15 years old joined Strapper in '79 learning to make surfboards in our factory which in those days was a sheep shearing shed close to #bellsbeach. In '89 Mike took over Strapper and now five decades on 2026 marks 50 years of a shared passion for surfing, making surfboards and being a foundation for the Torquay surf community and culture. Strapper is still #localownedandoperated by Mike D'Sas and continues to be #thesurfersshop.
